Be A Loving Mirror (BALM) program helps loved ones of people who abuse substances gain control of their own lives
Although prisons and jails are filled with people who have addictions, incarceration is not an effective solution for ending substance abuse. Reentry Central would like to thank Alan Buncher, CSAC, the chief Operating Officer and Director of Outreach for Family Recovery Resources for sending us the link to an inspiring story about how one woman discovered the “Be A Loving Mirror” (BALM) program and learned to take back her life after living a hellish existence for ten years with her husband, who had a problem with addiction.
