Nineteen-state guide helps those with a criminal history address reentry obstacles
Getting out of prison is an opportunity to start over, but for many people with a criminal background starting over is filled with obstacles, many of them legal.

A new guide offers information for 19 states on Legal Services Corporation (LSC) and non-LSC funded legal aid programs that offer individuals with a criminal history legal assistance for reentry-related legal problems relating to employment, housing, expungements, child support and other issues.

The guide can be used by reentering citizens or serve as a valuable resource for professionals whose clients have a criminal history.
